Mission Statement

To teach students for and about business. The Business

Technology Program is dedicated to the task of

providing all students with technical and leadership

skills needed in a global economy.

Vision Statement

We believe that all students can learn under given

conditions. These conditions include all the resources

available for teaching and learning. We believe that

students will actively participate in the learning

process and teachers will apply learning standards

using appropriate teaching standards and the latest

technology to enhance student achievement. We

believe that parents should be kept informed of

learning expectations to include knowledge of state

competency profiles and activities of the vocational

student organizations. We believe that the postsecondary

institutions and the business community

will embrace the industry certification of Business

Technology students. We believe that the Business

Technology program offers a well-rounded cluster of

learning opportunities.
